Christmas has come to the Depot! Many local organizations have decorated trees throughout the depot. The theme for our 11th Annual Christmas Tree competition is “Lights, Camera, Christmas!” Each participant was asked to pick their favorite Christmas Movie and use it for inspiration for their tree!

The Christmas trees will be on display Saturdays December 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, and January 4th from 10 am – 3 pm.

Visitors are asked to vote for your favorite 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trees. Custom Ornaments will be given to the winners at the end of the season. Hot cocoa and cookies will be available each Saturday.

Saturday December 7th we will feature a WWII Jeep or two in front of the Depot to remember Pearl Harbor Day.

Saturday December 21st Santa will be waiting in the Waiting Room to take pictures with visitors and listen to all their Christmas wishes. So bring your camera and your kiddos and take all the pictures you want!

Also on December 21st we will feature the Shafter Brass Band at 11:00 am on the front porch. The Band will serenade all of the Depot visitors with Christmas Carols.

Admission to the Depot Museum is free!

Come on down and celebrate the Christmas season with us. We can’t wait to see you there!
